Art Show- Samantha Allard

1.  I found a particular piece by Samantha Allard, a freshman at SCPA, whom was inspired to draw the picture of a teenage girl through one of her favorite photographer.
2.The composition of the piece is done in watercolors, green and yellow, and black pen. The teenager is centered and she is drawn from the waist up and she has a look of solitude on her face.
3. I believe that Allard was trying to convey a sense of solitude and singularity by have a background swirled with colors of light green and yellow around the subject making the girl the center of attention.
